About the Position:
This is a leadership role candidate search for our Planning Team, a core function in our company renowned for its excellence in social media marketing. You will work closely with the Sales and Account teams to design comprehensive marketing strategies based on data and insights. Your primary mission will be to lead the creation of high-quality proposals that solve client business challenges, maximizing the potential of social media as a core component of these strategies. Your leadership is crucial for maximizing your team members' expertise and analytical skills, and for instilling a strategic mindset within the team, thereby enhancing the quality of proposals and maximizing campaign effectiveness. We expect you to build a Planning Team that will be the growth engine for FinT Vietnam, contributing significantly to the business growth of our clients and our company by providing industry-leading solutions.
FinT seeks a Senior Strategic Planner who can leverage social media for integrated strategies to conquer the Vietnamese market.
Currently, FinT has a strong track record in the influencer marketing domain, and we also possess high capabilities in all social media platform operations, as well as social media strategy consulting. Leveraging these strengths, we welcome candidates who can extract data-driven insights and devise comprehensive strategies, from market entry to specific social media strategies, especially for foreign companies looking to expand or enter the Vietnamese market.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Market & Trend Analysis and Application to Strategy Development
- Research and analyze broad marketing market trends, consumer insights, and advanced campaign case studies from Vietnam and overseas, with a primary focus on social media, to inform strategy development.
- Deeply analyze case studies and performance data of key digital initiatives within FinT's strong social media domain, including influencer marketing. This involves not only analyzing internal case data but also studying successful cases from competitors and industry best practices to extract success factors.
2. Integrated Strategy Development and Data-Driven Insights for Client Solutions
- Collaborate with the Sales team from the initial stages, participating in client hearings and briefings to accurately identify core business challenges. When briefings are insufficient, you will work with Sales to refine client insights and build out the brief to a proposal-ready state through direct client engagement.
- Understand the overall business and marketing strategies of clients, especially foreign companies considering new entry into the Vietnamese market, and lead the development of integrated communication plans centered on the digital realm with social media at its core. As a playing lead in a nascent Planning Team, you are expected to be deeply involved in hands-on proposal development and concrete strategy formulation.

Based on the above strategies, collect and interpret objective data (qualitative and quantitative data). You will take the initiative to identify and acquire necessary data when existing sources are insufficient. Working with team members, you will extract meaningful insights and translate them into concrete tactics. Single data summaries are not enough. Instead, the numbers should explain what the client's business goals mean, indicate challenges or opportunities, and lead to actionable plans. We value a thought process that deeply explores the "why" behind the numbers, forming hypotheses, and validating them.

Existing data sources may be insufficient. If so, you will be expected to proactively acquire necessary primary data by planning and conducting additional market research (e.g., consumer surveys, in-depth interviews, focus group interviews), gathering information from other internal departments (Sales, Account), or collaborating with partner companies.

Compile and report research findings, strategies, and insights to clients in a logical and persuasive manner through documents (proposals, reports, etc.) and presentations. Proposals and reports are expected to be structured with a clear storyline: problem identification, current situation analysis (data-backed), insights, strategic hypotheses, specific measures, KPIs, effectiveness measurement frameworks, and cost-benefit analysis.
3. High-Quality Proposal Creation and Execution Phase Linkage
- Work closely with Sales, Account, and other relevant departments, deeply involved as a playing lead, to oversee the entire process of creating high-quality, data-driven, and insight-backed proposals for the Planning Team. Specifically, you will be hands-on in leading the planning and creation of proposal content.
- Define KPIs, appropriate benchmarks, and campaign effectiveness measurement frameworks to support team and project goal achievement.
- Collaborate with the Account team to ensure that proposed strategies are consistently implemented during the execution phase for maximum effectiveness, providing ongoing support and making adjustments as necessary.
4. Team Management and Organizational Contribution
- First and foremost, achieve outstanding results as a player, thereby driving the growth of the Planning Team through your success.
- In the future, you will also be tasked with expanding the team, including recruiting, developing, mentoring, setting goals, and conducting fair performance evaluations for team members.
- Lead important cross-departmental projects to success by defining clear project direction, driving multifaceted problem-solving, and coordinating stakeholders.

Qualifications:
- Over 5 years of professional experience in marketing field/ advertising agencies, with at least 3 years in planning, strategy development, or similar roles.
- At least 1 year of experience as a team leader or in managing a small team (including experience in mentoring and developing team members).
- Deep understanding of social media marketing in general (including influencer marketing, social media strategy and social account management). Practical experience is a plus.
- Advanced analytical, conceptual, and integration skills to organize complex information, derive essential insights from diverse data sources, and translate them into concrete strategies and action plans. Specifically, the ability to deeply analyze quantitative data and formulate strategies and proposals based on objective evidence. Additionally, the ability to identify missing data or necessary information and devise and execute approaches to acquire it.
- Logical thinking, attention to detail, and critical thinking skills, coupled with advanced problem-solving abilities and leadership to proactively identify challenges in a fast-paced market environment and drive solutions by involving the team.
- Business-level proficiency in English (both written and spoken) is mandatory (as English will be frequently used for client and internal communication).
