II. Job Description

YouNet Media is looking for a QC Intern who will join our team to build great products for the market. The intern will support the QC team in ensuring product quality through rigorous testing processes while gaining hands-on experience in a professional Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the QC team in executing testing activities for web, mobile, and API applications.
• Support the QC team in converting existing manual test cases into automated test scripts for API and web-based applications.
• Execute automated API tests using suitable tools (e.g., Postman/Newman or script-based approaches) under guidance.
• Assist in building and maintaining basic automated UI test scripts for stable, repetitive test flows, using an automation tool/framework selected in coordination with the team.
• Prepare and validate test data, including checking output from crawler and data pipeline processes for accuracy and completeness.
• Identify and document defects with clear, detailed information (steps, logs, screenshots) and report to the QC Team Leader.
• Maintain and organize automated test scripts with clear naming conventions and structure to support future framework development.
• Collaborate with manual QC engineers and developers to clarify requirements, expected behavior, and test scope before scripting.
• Apply AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot,..) to support test script generation, edge case exploration, and bug analysis, while critically reviewing AI-generated outputs before use.
• Participate in team meetings, testing activities, and knowledge-sharing sessions to strengthen the team‘s automation testing capability.

1. Education & Professional Knowledge

• Final-year student or 3rd-year in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields.
• Basic understanding of Software Testing concepts (SDLC, STLC, test case, bug life cycle).
• Ability to write clear, structured test cases and reporting.
• Familiarity with manual testing techniques.
• Pluses: Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, Swagger), basic knowledge of databases (MySQL, MongoDB), or exposure to automation testing.
• English: Good at reading and writing.

3. Other Requirements

• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum is a plus.
• Experience in personal/academic projects related to testing is a plus.
• Availability: Able to start immediately and commit to working at least 4 days per week.
