1. Key Information
- Job Title: Account Manager
- Report to: CEO and Managing Director
- Contract Type: Full Time
- Remuneration: 20,000,000 to 25,000,000VND/month (Gross)

2. About The Role
As an Account Manager at Project Pluto, you'll be the strategic bridge between our clients and creative team, ensuring exceptional project delivery while actively growing client relationships and identifying new business opportunities. You'll manage multiple knowledge-driven B2B clients across agriculture, industrial, education, and professional services—understanding their challenges, translating their needs into creative briefs, and helping them see how design and communication can build trust and credibility in their markets.
This role requires equal parts relationship management, strategic thinking, and business development acumen. You'll own client satisfaction and retention, identify opportunities for account growth, contribute to new business pitches, and ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and exceed expectations.
3. Role and Responsibilities
Core responsibilities
- Serve as primary point of contact for assigned client accounts, building strong, trusted relationships with key stakeholders
- Lead project management from kickoff to delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met
- Translate client business objectives into clear, actionable creative briefs for internal teams
- Facilitate effective communication between clients and creative/strategy teams, managing expectations on both sides
- Lead client meetings, workshops, and presentations with confidence and professionalism
- Identify opportunities for account growth and expansion within existing client relationships
- Develop proposals, scopes of work, and project estimates for new and existing clients
- Monitor project budgets, track hours, and ensure projects remain profitable
- Proactively identify and resolve potential issues before they impact client satisfaction or project delivery
- Maintain detailed project documentation, timelines, and status reports
- Contribute to new business development efforts including pitch preparation, proposal writing, and prospect meetings
- Conduct regular check-ins with clients to assess satisfaction, gather feedback, and identify future needs
- Collaborate with leadership on account strategy, revenue forecasting, and growth planning
- Stay informed about client industries, competitive landscapes, and market trends to provide strategic counsel
- Ensure all client deliverables meet quality standards and align with project objectives

- Lead high-value, complex client engagements with multiple stakeholders and workstreams
- Take ownership of key strategic accounts, becoming their long-term trusted advisor
- Drive significant account growth through strategic upselling and expanding scope of services
- Lead new business development initiatives from prospecting through closing
- Mentor junior account team members on client service, project management, and business development
- Develop and present thought leadership content that positions Project Pluto as knowledge communication experts
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities
- Contribute to agency positioning, service development, and go-to-market strategy
- Build specialized expertise in specific industries (agriculture, education, industrial) to lead vertical expansion
- Grow toward Senior Account Manager, Director of Client Services, or partnership roles

1. Essential:
- 4+ years of experience in account management, client services, or project management, preferably in creative agencies or B2B environments
- Proven track record of managing multiple client relationships and complex projects simultaneously
- Experience contributing to business development, including writing proposals and participating in pitches
- Strong understanding of creative processes, branding, UX/UI, and design workflows
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders
- Strategic thinker who can understand client business challenges and translate them into creative solutions
- Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
- Proficient in project management tools (Asana, Monday.com, Notion, or similar)
- Experience managing project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote environment with autonomy
- Strong problem-solving skills and grace under pressure
- Proficient in Google Workspace, Slack, and presentation tools
- Client-focused mindset with commitment to exceptional service
2. Preferred:
- Experience in B2B marketing, knowledge-intensive industries, or technical/complex product categories
- Familiarity with marketing analytics tools.
- Familiarity with sustainability and social impact communication.
- Experience with generative AI tools for content creation or marketing.
- Background in agriculture, industrial, education, professional services, or technology sectors
- Familiarity with creative briefs, design processes, and information design
- Experience with CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar)
- Understanding of brand strategy and knowledge communication
- Sales or business development training or experience
- Experience working with remote, distributed teams
