CMH Saigon is looking for applicants for the position of Communication Planner, senior level. This position will report directly to the Planning Head at the agency.

PLANNING SKILLS

1/ 3.5 - 5 years of planning, either social, PR, digital or IMC. Senior planner is expected to be able to perform the following tasks:

• Receiving client briefs and asking clients for further information that could be helpful to crack the brief
• Researching data, ex. desk research, making surveys, in-depth interviews, etc. Knowing how to process data into useful information to support strategic planning and creative ideas
• Writing creative briefs to inspire creative team
• Brainstorming with planning team and other teams
• Writing a complete proposal (except for parts from other teams) from strategic framing to frameworks and roadmaps
• Presenting proposals to clients and answering clients’ questions during the presentation
• Having experience in training junior planners or willing to work with juniors and train them

2/ Interested in studying people and digging for insights, or interested in certain aspects of planning work (e.g. research data, media performance, etc.)

3/ Having experience in working on Pharma | Foods | Moms & babies | Corporate | Personal care product | Electronics projects

4/ Proactive in keeping oneself updated with trends (advertising, showbiz, business, etc.) and current affairs to be able to handle any planning project.

5/ Being able to deliver a sharing session / training session / workshop for planning team members or other teams.

SOFT SKILLS

• Presentation skill: clear, fluent and inspiring for both creative team and clients
• English: adequate to write English proposals - present to international clients - discuss with clients. Note: not all projects are in English, but please be prepared to communicate in English when needed
• Deck decoration: planning work mainly involves working on PowerPoint/ Keynote to pull up proposals. Thus, the skill to create a presentable and aesthetically pleasing deck is needed.
• Teamwork: planner is an important element contributing to every pitch win or project’s success. Thus, a planner needs to be able to cooperate with creatives, accounts as well as other planners.
• Time and workload management: organized, punctual in meeting and deadlines

OTHERS

• Having media knowledge is a plus
• Having a hobby/ passion for something outside of work is a plus
• Managing emotion well to handle times when workload is heavy or when conflicts arise internally/ externally
• Respecting other team members
