MBC Connects the Business Community Through the “Moon of Love” Pickleball Tournamen
The MBC Open Pickleball Tournament 2026 - Green Leaf Vietnam Cup “Moon of Love” concluded in a vibrant atmosphere, bringing together nearly 120 entrepreneurs, artists and invited guests. Beyond the competition itself, the tournament helped spread a spirit of sharing and once again underscored the Mekong Business Club in Ho Chi Minh City’s (MBC) commitment to building a closely connected business community.

Held on September 9, 2026, at Dinker Pickleball Court in Tan Hung Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, the tournament provided MBC members, entrepreneurs, partners and guests with an opportunity to meet and engage in a more relaxed setting, united by the spirit of fair play, mutual respect and energetic competition.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Miss Phan Thi Mo, Vice President of MBC and Head of the Tournament Organizing Committee, highlighted pickleball’s special role in bringing people together. She said that this year’s tournament adopted the theme “Moon of Love,” with part of the program’s proceeds to be allocated to supporting disadvantaged children and helping bring them a warmer and more meaningful Mid-Autumn Festival.
In this way, the joy generated on the court would continue through activities that give back to the wider community.

The MBC Open Pickleball Tournament 2026 demonstrated a more approachable and engaging way of connecting businesspeople. Instead of meeting solely at conferences or business networking events, entrepreneurs had the opportunity to interact through sports, allowing relationships to develop in a more natural and lasting manner.

The matches were played with enthusiasm and determination. Outstanding performers were recognized by the Organizing Committee, but the value of the tournament went far beyond the final scores. Conversations off the court, handshakes after the matches and new relationships formed throughout the event were equally important parts of the program.

After a full day of exciting and highly competitive matches, the Organizing Committee honored the top-performing athletes across the tournament categories. Đoàn Minh Tài and Lê Xuân Vinh claimed the title in the Mixed Doubles 4.2 Serie A category, while Nguyễn Anh Đức and Nguyễn Quốc Hưng took first place in Mixed Doubles 4.2 Serie B. In the Men’s and Women’s Doubles 4.0 Serie A category, Phan Thị Mơ and Chí Thông emerged as champions, while Gia Cát Đoàn and Kim Loan topped the Men’s and Women’s Doubles 4.0 Serie B category. The Newbie Doubles title went to Trần Thị Lệ Hằng and Nguyễn Minh Sơn.

Mrs. Lam Thuy Ai, President of MBC and General Director of Mebi Farm Joint Stock Company, together with the MBC Standing Committee and Executive Committee, is currently promoting a series of activities aimed at developing a business community that is connected not only through commercial cooperation, but also through shared values in culture, sports and social responsibility.
The tournament took place just ahead of Mekong Business Connect 2026 - MBC Members Gathering, scheduled for September 11, 2026, at the 272 Convention Center in Ho Chi Minh City.
A key highlight of Mekong Business Connect 2026 will be the business panel discussion “Navigating Through Volatility,” along with the launch of a digital networking platform, the induction of new members and a Gala Dinner.
The succession of activities reflects the direction MBC is pursuing in building its membership community around four key pillars of value: knowledge, connection, technology and social responsibility.
As the tournament came to a close, the trophies had found their winners, new relationships had been formed, teamwork had been strengthened and the values generated by the event continued beyond the court through a shared commitment to the community.
