Invitation to Attend the Event
At the heart of the program will be the business panel discussion “Navigating Through Volatility.” The session is designed to address the practical questions business leaders are currently facing: When should companies focus on cost control, and when is it time to invest? How can businesses preserve their core capabilities and retain key personnel? How can Vietnamese enterprises turn shifting FDI flows and supply chain restructuring into actual orders? And how should technology, automation and B2B branding be incorporated into the broader equation of business efficiency?
The panel discussion will be moderated by Ms. Lam Thuy Ai, President of MBC and General Director of Mebi Farm Joint Stock Company. Joining the discussion will be Dr. Huynh Thanh Dien, lecturer at Nguyen Tat Thanh University and macroeconomic expert; Ms. Le Nguyen Duy Oanh, Deputy Director of the Technical Support and Sustainable Development Center under the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Industry and Trade; Mr. Bui Van Be Sau, Member of the MBC Standing Committee and General Director of Lamberet Vietnam Co., Ltd.; and Dr. Nguyen Hai Minh of Wisdom Agency.
In addition, MBC will launch a digital networking platform, welcome new members and host a Gala Dinner. Outstanding athletes from the MBC Open Pickleball Tournament 2026, held just ahead of Mekong Business Connect 2026, will also be honored. Together, these activities reflect MBC’s approach to community building across four pillars of value: knowledge, connection, technology and social responsibility.
As part of the event, Dr. Huynh Thanh Dien will deliver a presentation titled “Repositioning in a World of Changing Standards,” while Dr. Nguyen Hai Minh will share insights on “Building Brands for Manufacturing and Trading Enterprises.”

During the first eight months of 2026, Vietnam’s industrial production index rose 11.9% year-on-year, marking the strongest eight-month growth in many years. At the same time, an average of approximately 19,700 businesses exited the market each month. These two trends illustrate that the current business landscape cannot simply be described as either growth or difficulty. Opportunities are emerging, but so too are competitive pressures, the need for innovation and the demand for stronger decision-making capabilities.
Against this backdrop of intertwined opportunities and challenges, Mekong Business Connect 2026 is expected to provide a platform for businesses to gain fresh perspectives, connect with resources and explore meaningful opportunities for cooperation.
Through the program, MBC continues to pursue its goal of building a closely connected business community that is proactive in adapting to change and committed to creating sustainable value together.
