Job Overview
We are seeking a highly creative and experienced Senior Brand Designer to lead the visual identity of our innovative cybersecurity app. As a key member of our Brand Team within the Marketing Department, you will be responsible for shaping and maintaining a compelling and trustworthy brand presence that resonates with a mass user audience. This is a hands-on role requiring a strategic thinker with exceptional design skills and a passion for building brands in the technology space.
Key Responsibilities
* Brand Visual Identity Leadership
- Develop, maintain, and evolve the comprehensive visual identity for our cybersecurity app, ensuring it is modern, trustworthy, and appealing to the mass market.
- Act as the primary guardian of the brand’s visual standards across all platforms and touchpoints.
- Translate complex cybersecurity concepts into clear, accessible, and engaging visual language.
* Brand Guidelines Management
- Create, update, and champion comprehensive Brand Guidelines that detail everything from logo usage, color palettes, typography, imagery, and iconography.
- Ensure internal teams and external partners have access to and correctly implement the Brand Guidelines.
- Conduct regular audits of brand visuals to ensure consistency and identify areas for improvement.
* Key Visual Development for Marketing Campaigns
- Conceptualize and create compelling Key Visuals (KV) that effectively communicate the core message and objectives of marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, social media, in-app, etc.), in different formats and specifications.
- Collaborate closely with the Product team and within the Marketing team to ensure the KV is aligned with the campaign strategy and target audience.
* Visual Asset Creation
- Design a wide array of visual assets, including but not limited to: Marketing materials (digital ads, social media graphics, email templates, presentations, brochures); Website and app store visuals; Illustrations, icons, and infographics; Event and promotional materials.
- Ensure all assets are high-quality, on-brand, and optimized for their intended channels.
* Collaboration & Strategy
- Collaborate with Product Designers and Product Managers to ensure brand consistency extends into the UX of the app.
- Contribute to the overall brand strategy, bringing a strong visual perspective to discussions about brand positioning, messaging, and audience engagement.
- Stay current with design trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in branding, particularly within the tech and cybersecurity industries for mass users.
- Provide guidance to junior designers or freelancers as needed.
Qualifications
* Education & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of professional experience as a Brand Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work in brand identity, marketing campaigns, and visual assets.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g. Adobe CC, Figma).
- Excellent understanding of typography, color theory, layout, and visual hierarchy.
- Strong conceptual thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate strategic objectives into compelling visual solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Preferred
- Experience working with a B2C technology product, ideally a mobile app or software for Vietnamese users.
- Experience in the cybersecurity industry or a strong interest in making complex technology understandable and approachable for everyday users.
- Experience with motion design and video editing.
