ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a General Manager who is not here just to manage, but to design and lead a system that runs with structure, efficiency, and people ownership.
This is a strategic role for someone who thrives in high-growth, fast-paced environments, and is capable of scaling both operations and people. You will work closely with the Board of Directors to translate business direction into execution, establish performance-driven processes, and lead a culture of accountability.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operational Leadership
- Build, manage, and optimize company-wide operations across departments.
- Redesign workflows and reporting structures to increase transparency and speed.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
- Financial Oversight
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting with the Finance team.
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining quality and delivery.
- Ensure profitability across departments and implement sustainable financial practices.
- People and Culture Development
- Coach and develop mid-level managers into strong, independent leaders.
- Partner with HR to shape hiring, talent development, and retention strategies.
- Cultivate a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Strategic Partnerships and Client Relations
- Manage and grow relationships with key clients and partners.
- Act as the company representative in client meetings and industry engagements.
- Explore new market opportunities and develop growth partnerships.
- Governance and Compliance
- Maintain high standards of business ethics and regulatory compliance.
- Lead change management and organizational development initiatives.
- Implement internal policies and controls to support scalable growth.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 5 years in a senior management role (e.g., GM, COO, Head of Operations, Business Director).
- Prior experience in agency, outsourcing, or service-based business models is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in leading multi-functional teams and delivering measurable business outcomes.
- Strong knowledge of operational management, client servicing, project delivery, and business growth.
SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
- Strategic thinking and strong execution skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
- Data-driven, analytical, and comfortable with performance metrics.
- Proficient in tools such as Google Workspace, Jira, Discord/Slack.
- Fluent in Vietnamese and English (spoken and written).
- High adaptability, proactive mindset, and strong problem-solving skills.
