ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a General Manager who is not here just to manage, but to design and lead a system that runs with structure, efficiency, and people ownership.

This is a strategic role for someone who thrives in high-growth, fast-paced environments, and is capable of scaling both operations and people. You will work closely with the Board of Directors to translate business direction into execution, establish performance-driven processes, and lead a culture of accountability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Operational Leadership
  • Build, manage, and optimize company-wide operations across departments.
  • Redesign workflows and reporting structures to increase transparency and speed.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
  1. Financial Oversight
  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting with the Finance team.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining quality and delivery.
  • Ensure profitability across departments and implement sustainable financial practices.
  1. People and Culture Development
  • Coach and develop mid-level managers into strong, independent leaders.
  • Partner with HR to shape hiring, talent development, and retention strategies.
  • Cultivate a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  1. Strategic Partnerships and Client Relations
  • Manage and grow relationships with key clients and partners.
  • Act as the company representative in client meetings and industry engagements.
  • Explore new market opportunities and develop growth partnerships.
  1. Governance and Compliance
  • Maintain high standards of business ethics and regulatory compliance.
  • Lead change management and organizational development initiatives.
  • Implement internal policies and controls to support scalable growth.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 5 years in a senior management role (e.g., GM, COO, Head of Operations, Business Director).
  • Prior experience in agency, outsourcing, or service-based business models is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading multi-functional teams and delivering measurable business outcomes.
  • Strong knowledge of operational management, client servicing, project delivery, and business growth.

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES

  • Strategic thinking and strong execution skills.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Data-driven, analytical, and comfortable with performance metrics.
  • Proficient in tools such as Google Workspace, Jira, Discord/Slack.
  • Fluent in Vietnamese and English (spoken and written).
  • High adaptability, proactive mindset, and strong problem-solving skills.
