THE ROLES:
As a Senior Creative Writer, you'll be responsible for developing a wide range of written materials, from press releases and media pitches to thought leadership articles and social media content. You'll work closely with account teams, strategists, and clients to understand their objectives and translate them into engaging and persuasive copy.
1. Own the creative direction
- Lead and inspire the Creative Team to craft bold, thoughtful, and high-impact work.
- Set the tone for all things content - guiding voice, style, and storytelling across every touchpoint.
2. Shape our voice across channels
Content Development: Research, write, and edit high-quality, engaging content across various platforms, including:
- Press releases, media alerts, and media pitches
- Website copy and landing page content
- Blog posts and articles (ghostwritten for clients or by-lined)
- Social media content (posts, campaigns, scripts)
- Speechwriting and talking points
- Brochures, newsletters, and marketing collateral
Trend Awareness: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, media landscapes, and best practices in content marketing and public relations.
Mentorship (as needed): Provide guidance and feedback to junior writers or team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
3. Create content for our clients on different platforms and format
- Work hand-in-hand with the PR & IMC team to co-create exciting campaigns for clients in various industry - from lifestyle to corporate.
- Participate in client meetings to present concepts, gather feedback, and ensure content meets their expectations.
- Jump into brainstorms, pitch bold ideas, and see your ideas come to life across brand moments.
DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCES
- 5+ years of experience as a creative writer, copywriter, or content creator, preferably within a PR agency, marketing agency, or in-house communications department.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of written work, in both Vietnamese and English
- Proven ability to adapt writing style to suit different clients, industries, and target audiences.
- Strong understanding of public relations principles and how compelling content contributes to successful PR campaigns.
- Excellent research and interviewing skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, AI tools
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, or a related field.
