Job Overview:

As a Senior Strategic Planner, you will be responsible for leading the development of strategic solutions for clients, particularly in Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) and Influencer Marketing. You will create innovative strategies, conduct in-depth research, and build compelling proposals to drive the success of client campaigns. Your role will be key in shaping the company’s strategic direction and ensuring that client objectives are met effectively through well-planned campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Briefing and Creative Direction:

    • Take detailed client briefs, crack the brief and develop creative briefs and debriefs to ensure alignment across the team and with the client.
    • Develop and execute strategies that address client objectives, focusing on IMC and Influencer Marketing.
  • Research and Proposal Development:

    • Conduct thorough research to gather insights on market trends, consumer behavior and competition.
    • Create a solid strategic proposal flow and framework based on research and analysis.
    • Evaluate creative ideas, ensure strategic alignment and present final proposals to clients.
  • IMC and Influencer Marketing Strategy:

    • Develop integrated marketing strategies that combine traditional media, digital platforms and influencer marketing to maximize brand exposure and engagement.
    • Leverage influencer marketing to enhance brand visibility, foster engagement, and drive ROI for clients.
    • Provide tailored influencer marketing recommendations for businesses of all sizes, ensuring that influencer campaigns align with broader IMC objectives.
  • Data Analysis and Strategic Recommendations:

    • Collect and analyze relevant data to uncover insights, implications, and opportunities for client growth.
    • Provide actionable, strategic recommendations based on data analysis to improve client business performance.
  • Strategic Planning and Business Development:

    • Develop strategic business plans that align with the Board of Directors (BOD) and company goals.
    • Contribute to business development by creating innovative strategies to meet client needs.
    • Act as a consultant for clients, offering expert business strategy advice.

Key Deliverables:

  • Winning Proposals: Maintain a 50% success rate for new pitch proposals and manage up to three rounds of revisions for retainer clients.
  • Data Organization: Develop and manage data source frameworks to facilitate efficient data collection and storage across the team.
  • Business Insights: Extract and deliver valuable business insights from data analysis to guide strategic decisions.
  • Client Relationships: Contribute to the development of client relationships through strategic input and successful project execution.

Experience Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in a strategic planning role, with strong expertise in IMC and Influencer Marketing.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing integrated marketing strategies, including influencer campaigns, across various platforms.
  • A track record of creating and presenting winning proposals to clients.
  • Experience with data analysis and generating actionable business insights.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and develop strategies accordingly.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence clients and internal teams.
  • Strong project management skills, able to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of current marketing trends, influencer platforms, and digital tools.
