Who are we?
We Create Content is a content marketing agency based in Hanoi, serving clients in Vietnam and the wider South-East Asian region. With bespoke content concepts, production, distribution and analytics, we help brands tell stories to meet their business objectives.
What’s the role?
You will conceptualise, discuss, draft, write, and edit copy (and help with conceptualising video content) to post on Netflix Vietnam social channels (Tiktok and Youtube). All concepts and content will need to be inspired, punchy, well-researched and on-brand for Netflix.
The ideal candidate is a team-spirited, skilled and imaginative writer with an eye for big ideas as well as the small details. If you can grasp project requirements quickly and offer valuable insight, we’d like to meet you. Submit up to three samples of your work in advertising, marketing or publishing and feel free to include links to your content or portfolio in your application.
Key responsibilities
- Create and implement audience growth strategies and insights for the Netflix Vietnam TikTok and Youtube channels.
- Conceptualise ideas, create content and coordinate with the production team to shoot and edit videos
- Oversee and implement both proactive and planned posting.
- Ensure overall consistency of brand voice and tonality.
- Craft copy for TikTok and Youtube assets; manage and track interactions on TikTok and Youtube channel and write reactive comments and responses.
- Perform daily checks inclusive of audience reactions and sentiment, current trends and conversations, and potential opportunities for reactive content.
- Manage influencer interaction, particularly doing influencer research and identification, as well as influencer response and adhoc outreaching.
- Bring a wealth of knowledge when it comes to identifying and sourcing content from Netflix films and series that are best fit to Netflix Vietnam’ daily editorial programming for TikTok and Youtube.
- Research and present current trends, opportunities, and recommendations for the internal team to include in Netflix’s Tiktok channel.
- Operate internal Netflix tools for sourcing content directly.
- Lead the organization, archival, and maintenance of all TikTok assets created for and by Netflix Vietnam on internal databases and asset management tools.
- Participate and contribute actively to daily brainstorming and discussions, on top of regularly scheduled and as-needed WIP meetings.
- Understand and execute best practices on social media
Successful candidates will have
- Proven experience as a copywriter or related role in filmmaking, marketing, publishing or advertising
- Knowledge of content creation on Tiktok
- Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
- Attention to detail with the critical eye
- Love creativity, art, script making and watching series and movies
- Ability to express ideas, convey ideas into filming scripts
- Good visual and aesthetic thinking
- Like to watch Tiktok, Douyin or Youtube
- Collaborative spirit
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills
- Self-driven in managing and accomplishing projects under tight deadlines and be able to work in a high demanding environment with minimum supervision
- BSc/BA in Journalism, Communication and Media or related field.
- Communication skills, written and oral in both English and Vietnamese.
