Overall View of the Job

The Senior Art Director is responsible for successfully delivering creative services to clients. He/ She is able to think conceptually and possesses an aptitude for visual design that serves to elevate the quality of the work that flows through the agency.

Job Description

• Be highly creative in doing branding, packaging, communication and production supervision across IMC channels;
• Work closely with the writer to generate concepts to fulfil the client's brief. Design presentation decks and visual guidelines for brands;
• Supervise designer, review and approve designs, artworks, photography, and all graphics required by scope;
• Lead projects independently and manage the workload of one’s own team;
• Present creative concepts and designs to clients for approval. Give consultancy to develop an artistic approach and style;
• Gain an understanding of the target audience and business that the advert is aimed at;
• Supervise vendors and production parties such as photographers, illustrators, artists or film-makers to work on projects;
• Work in editing suites to oversee the finished product;
• Have rich experience in all digital platforms and digital asset creation.

Job Requirements

• Have background working in Advertising agencies or in Branding & Design agencies;
• Acquire 5+ years as professional advertiser, especially in Beauty, Skincare, FMCG and Automobile, in which 2+ years of experience in supervisory role;
• Previous position: Art Director/Digital Art Director;
• Have experience working in Japanese company is a plus;
• Have knowledge about Adobe apps: Photoshop, Illustrator,../ Design & Communication;
• Thorough understanding of advertising process;
• Good understanding about advertising film making process, photography, typography and packaging printing;
• Skills required:
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Hand drawing, sketching;
  • Excellent computer skills in relevant art and design software packages;
  • Acute observation and an eye for detail;
  • Integrated and creative approach to the media;
  • Teamwork;
  • Deadline management.

  • Be highly motivated, Enthusiastic;
  • Hard working & work smart;
  • Work under pressure to meet tight deadlines;
  • Interest in social and cultural trends and fashions;

• Advanced certifications on media platforms or data analytics;
• Design certificate/ degree.
