I. ABOUT THIS ROLE:

The Media Intelligence Market Research Director/Head of Insight will be responsible for providing a comprehensive view of media intelligence (product launch, competitor benchmark, brand health, campaign analysis). This includes develop strategies on client's integrated marketing campaigns, communications and strategies.

II. JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Implement and standardize strategic consulting reports for client’s branding and marketing activities.
  • Building and leading the team of business insight analysts and social data operations.
  • Providing robust data-led insight to clients.
  • Continually enhance and drive improvements in data visualization, analytics and reporting within the Business Insight Team.
  • Business Insight leadership: lead business insight analyst to provide a holistic understanding of operational performance and new strategic opportunities
  • Interpret a broad spectrum of business category, brand, product, Representatives and Consumer information and apply insight to make recommendations to senior management to influence business decision making.
  • Lead design and implementation of data metrics display corresponding with business segmentation requirements.
  • Provide research model analytics to improve current reports.
  • Team Management: Develop high performing and self-driven Analytics team - reliable business partners to other departments locally, and globally.
  • Ensure skills and capability enhancement, and transferability within the team.
  • Manage team development, performance, and succession to build a sustainable talent pipeline.
  • Direct the process: manage the day-to-day responsibilities of several research projects from start to finish, help frame objectives, develop research design and sampling plans.
  • Find operational efficiencies, drive them forward and collaborate with team members so that projects get done well and right: on time and on strategy for the client.
  • Develop an understanding of clients’ business issues and the industries in which they operate. Become a trusted advisor to clients by understanding their big picture strategy and day to day needs.
  • Set standards for social media effectiveness, brand impact, and creative insights through the lens of listening, reporting, and analysis across organic and paid social media content.
  • Impact the business by consulting solutions to satisfy customer needs and will contribute to its growth.
  • Evaluate business issues and assess information needs whether syndicated or custom research, propose methodology.
  • Collaborate across functions and establish strong communication among team members.

III. JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least 5-7 years working as Manager position in Marketing/ Trade Marketing/ Marketing Communication/ Insight/ Data Analytics/ Market Research field.
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related fields with strong quantitative and qualitative research background.
  • Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to work within diverse organizations and teams.
  • Desire/passion to transform how decisions are made through ad hoc & scaled application of analytics.
  • Demonstrated success at deriving insight from data and effectively communicating those insights to drive action.
  • Logical & critical thinking, willing to learn new things.
  • Strong English (presentation, writing and listening) skills.
