[HCM][Agency] AdAsia Holdings: Senior Media Planner

What You’ll Do:

I. Check and research media, client, marketplace…

  • Regularly evaluates the research to identify and accurately recommend media that is most effective at reaching target audiences
  • Successfully derives insights from in-market media campaigns to inform optimizations, new testing opportunities, and cross channel activation
  • Identifies opportunities based upon knowledge of client, media, and marketplace

II. Media proposal & plan development

  • Develops and designs digital media campaign concepts and strategies that are rooted in client business metrics
  • Create media recommendations/proposals based on user insights and the media landscape to best meet client objectives

III. Work with internal team

  • Adheres to Media buying and planning best practices as established by the team (i.e. meeting deadlines, adhering to budgets, etc)
  • Manages media buying process, negotiating proposals, and establishing tactical level recommendations that align with media strategy

IV. Work with vendor/ partner

  • Successfully manages and leverages vendor relationships employing diplomatic communications to ensure high-quality deliverables that are timely, within specification and to the client’s best advantage
  • Manages relationships with publishers and platforms to stay on top of new capabilities, opportunities, and new releases/opportunities

V. Manage campaign

  • Effectively reviews and monitors campaign budget, pacing and optimizations to exceed client goals
  • Work with internal teams (account, planning, creative, influencers/KOL) to ensure project deliverables and timeline
  • Ensure the profitability of each project and individual project components

VII. Other tasks

  • Update manager and internal teams on project status, together with insights and recommendations
  • Coach junior team members on media planning

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s degree (communications, marketing, advertising, or media preferred)
  • Fluency in spoken and written English
  • Minimum of 3 years of working experience in digital media planning
  • Strong understand the strengths, weaknesses, and nuances of all digital media types (display, programmatic, video, social, mobile) and demonstrates an understanding of media concepts, formulas and execution techniques
  • Experience in a fast-paced work environment
  • Robust team management, verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Knowledge of 3rd party research and management systems tools: comScore, Nielsen, IMS, etc.
  • Knowledge of programmatic advertising and 3rd party ad serving
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
