[HCM][Agency] YouNet: Community Manager

Job Description:

The community manager is responsible for managing and engaging with the organizations online community in a way which builds brand awareness and loyalty for various client projects in YouNet Digital.

  • Managing a team of social seeders and various projects plans.
  • Working alongside the BOD to generate new ideas for social content to drive communications.
  • Planning social content and maintaining the content calendar ensuring social media content is regular, relevant and engaging.
  • Writing engaging copy for using on relevant social media platforms and right target audience.
  • Engaging with Fans and Followers to build relationships with the community and encourage engagement.
  • Build relationship and working with vendors or freelancers in social media field for sourcing matters.
  • Weekly reporting on social media engagements within the community.
  • Monitoring the success of the community and of social media in terms of the overall marketing strategy.
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders to relay customer feedback insights gained from online conversations within the community.
  • Setup & manage team working processes based on company working platforms & systems.

The ideal background of a community manager:

  • Previous experience working as a community manager in a similar role or alternatively a background in digital/social media ideally from a similar industry.
  • The ideal community manager will be passionate and articulate with the ability to analyze the implications of online communications and messages.
  • Must have a cutting edge interest in social media and be abreast with the fast changing nature of social media and ensuring that new opportunities for engaging with customers are realized.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills are essential.
  • A relevant degree in either marketing, IT or English is essential.
  • Experience in project management with flexibility to adapt to various project situation.
  • Capable of learning new technologies and optimizing working process to meet the needs of projects.

Job Requirements:

  • More than 2 years’ experience in digital agency at related positions.
  • Be self-servicing and able to act on own initiative where necessary.
  • Having ambition to become an effective and successful manager.
  • Be proactive and highly motivated; demonstrate the ability and desire to work independently and confidently, but as part of a team.
  • Willing to learn and enjoy new challenges. High sense of responsibility, result-oriented.
  • Good communication & presentation skills.
  • Prefer candidates with good English skills.
