Strategic Planner

Reports To:

Managing Director

Experience Required:

  • Minimum 2 years as a communications planner, account planner or digital strategist in a digitally-centered agency, or, having worked with digital focus at a traditional agency

  • Experience with creating, serving and analyzing surveys, as well as, performing qualitative research (focus groups, consumer interviews, etc.)

  • Experience in analyzing large datasets to gather insights

  • Demonstrable experience in working collaboratively with the creative, strategy, design, technology and optimization disciplines to bring an idea to life in a way that supports the defined strategy

  • Experience with content and channel strategies using trends decks, consumer journeys, communication plans, conversation calendars and engagement models

Qualifications

  • At a minimum, a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or other relevant subject. Candidates without a relevant degree but with demonstrable experience will also be considered

  • Excellent written & verbal communication in Vietnamese. Ability to effectively speak, read & write in English is required

  • Ability to create communications that inform and persuade

  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office, Adobe and Google Apps

Development & Management

  • Responsible for creating the digital communication strategy for marketing campaigns. This includes targeting the right audience, sellable insights, selecting appropriate channels, as well as, setting the tone and message for a campaign

  • Write the formal brief and provide the ideal environment for creative development. Combines market data, qualitative research and product knowledge within a brief to enable the creative team to produce innovative ideas that will reach consumers, especially in the digital arena.

  • Collaboratively develop proposals to bring out the best ideas

  • Responsible the quality and timely completion of proposals within deadlines

  • Interact with varied clients to understand their needs that will shape the proposals

  • Contribute to an interdisciplinary and collaborative team that includes experienced designers, graphic designers, copywriters and project managers

  • Contribute to creative strategic thinking by researching and writing comprehensive creative briefs

  • Produce, analyze and deliver consumer insights based on primary or secondary research methods, and synthesize multiple data sources to find unique insights

  • Provide campaign tracking and insight development using social media planning tools

  • Produce and present actionable data in the form of compelling consumer, cultural, competitive, brand insights

  • Develop a robust understanding of client business challenges in order to deliver insights to help our teams meet client goals

  • Perform competitive analysis of brands, experiences and campaigns

  • Using analytics, work with account teams and experience strategy teams to identify new ideas and opportunities with existing clients
