OVERALL VIEW OF THE JOB

Hakuhodo Digital Vietnam (H:D) is looking for a digital media team leader who will be responsible for managing digital media activities for clients and to ensure that current media duties are carried out smoothly. This person will supervise a team up of 8 or more media executives, planners and supervisors in their day-to-day tasks. And be an advisor for CS team/client to provide in-time solutions upon their need.

Working closely with Directors, this person will be main driver to maintain and expand the media and data offerings of H:D Vietnam, which including but no limitation of Digital marketing solutions and technology.

Furthermore, this person will build up the capabilities of H:D for data and analytics as a key driver for business growth. The ideal person will be spearheading new initiatives and identifying new opportunities and clients with the aim of making H:D Vietnam a leader in the industry in the future.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Account Management – 35%

  • Develops, manages and monitors media deliverables for assigned accounts;
  • Oversees process development and execution management to eleminate the risk;
  • Assures quality control of all media planning and implementation;
  • Enforces best practices in the realms of media, data and process;
  • Attends to client meetings as needed, interface as needed with executive level and middle management level on client side during meetings and presentations.

Performance Media and Data Discipline – 35%

  • Implements participation planning process for assigned accounts and holistic media planning across all digital disciplines paid search, display, social, mobile, video, and affiliates;
  • Coordinates efforts across different digital media channels to drive optimized recommendations;
  • Continuously evaluates and improves upon all digital media opportunities;
  • Leads in building and evolving the media practice, vision, and areas of expertise;
  • Ability to plan and consult for clients’ data-specific solutions – dashboards, DMPs, marketing technology, etc.

Team Leadership & Capabilities Development – 20%

  • Embraces and encourages a culture based on team work, collaboration, and intellectual curiosity;
  • Motivates, leads, and manages internal teams, working collaboratively to drive programs that meet our clients’ performance and business objectives;
  • Assists in interviewing, hiring, training, mentoring, developing, and evaluating team members;
  • Conducts performance reviews and career path plans for each member;
  • Provide training in cross media planning to internal and external stakeholders for the sake of group/client.

Process Improvement – 10%

  • Together with the Digital Director, facilitates the development and documentation of best practices for improving operational efficiencies within the team and the group;
  • Ensure that H:D has the right technology stack and media process to best serve our clients and be competitive in the market.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous role as a media director, performance director, senior media manager in a digital agency, technology company or similar;
  • Had 3 – 5 years working experience in media and digital fields;
  • Maturity to deal with complex situations and briefs;
  • Solution providers to make it well-done;
  • Experience with managing cross-functional teams relationship is an advantage;
  • Understands holistically digital as a discipline and can act as a consultant to internal teams and clients;
  • Extensive knowledge about digital media, the media landscape and the industry landscape. Has seen it all in terms of digital and media – from planning, execution, optimization, measurement and can implement a conversion journey for any clients;
  • Working understanding of marketing technology, data analytics, DMP and programmatic buying and other relevant platforms and how these relates to agency revenue and client business needs;
  • Excellent communication skills for internal and client-facing communication situations;
  • Excellent command in English both written and spoken;
  • Very strong analytical skills & ability to mine large sets of data for actionable insights;
  • A wide interest in the intersection between technology, media consumption behavior and client needs;
  • Independent, responsibility, practical and critical thinking;
  • Strong strategic mind with a passion for delivering best-in-class work;
  • Pushes for the best possible work and stands-up for great ideas and ways of working;
  • Advanced certifications on media platforms or data analytics.
