Aleph is looking for a potential candidate that suitable for the position of Technical Director.
General Description
- As technical visionary, you will innovate, architect and implement state of the art ideas that help us address customer challenges in the Financial and Telecom domain
- Reporting to the Managing Director and CEO, you will be joining a talented, collaborative team at the forefront of exciting new ventures in the digital experience space.
- Highly creative and innovation skills; advanced knowledge of emerging technologies
- Set goals and initiatives for the team and manage performance and productivity
- Excellent client relationship management skills, and ability to serve as a trusted advisor
- A roll-up sleeves approach to the design, development, implementation measures for bringing success driven delivery to the projects
Responsibilities
- Managing a team of 10+/- including front end, mobile (iOS / Android), java and testing, you will be responsive to the needs of team and client requirements and schedules of the project deliveries
- Act as a Mentor and help upgrade technical proficiency of the team.
- Monitor job status for resource planning
- Provide answers on basic technical inquiries and documentation requirements from clients and internal technical teams
- Responsible for successful implementation and delivery of multiple projects with high quality ranging from end to end enterprise solutioning, front end development and mobile development
- Should be proficient and hands on enough to roll up the sleeves and ensure quality and delivery measures are met for all projects in the organisation
- Expertise in end to end solutions; from requirement understanding to defining user experience, architecture and design of UI and backend systems
- Experience in Banking and Financial Industry and exposure to Mobile Technologies is a must
- Expertise on Java, Mobile and Front End stack of technologies including Springs, EJBs and other Server frameworks on the UNIX/Linux Platform, RESTful services, Apache Tomcat, SAML, JSON, Maven, iOS and Android Native and Hybrid models, and other front end frameworks such as Ember, Backbone, Node JS, Angular JS
- Experience designing and / or implementing client and server frameworks. Should be well versed with front end technologies and frameworks
- Must have strong understanding of application architectures, system planning, networking, operating systems, mobile & web technologies
- 8 – 10 years demonstrated design and development experience with demonstrated visioning and innovation experience.
- Should be well versed with different project management and delivery methodologies
- Should be able to oversight and manage risks in projects
