Role responsibilities:
- Generates creative advertising ideas that are clear, persuasive, original, relevant and brand aware
- Writes clear, persuasive, original copy
- Brainstorms ideas and concepts with other agency team and liaises with clients to interpret their briefs
- Amends, revises/redevelops adverts or campaigns in response to feedback from the creative director, account team or client
- Oversees campaigns through the production stage to completion
- Works on several campaigns at once, under pressure and is able to meet tight deadlines
- Is in tune with popular culture and trends
- Liaises with production companies, photographers, typographers, designers and printers
- Demonstrates creative ideas in a multi-channel environment; actively pursues new media and digital solutions
- Monitors the effectiveness of advertising campaigns
Skills & Experience:
- 2 - 3 years’ experience minimum in a Copywriter role
- Understanding of the operation of large brands in an integrated world
- Previous experience of local/regional brands
- Fluency in written and spoken English
Education:
- Degree qualified
