JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: Insight Strategist/ Senior Insight Strategist

Report to: Head of Planning

We are looking for a skilled analyst who is passionate in listening from social conversations and drawing useful insights for clients.

You are the guardian of social insights for the agency. Not being intimidated by the huge amount of social conversations on the internet, you can dive into thousands of conversations every day and trying to make sense of it.

You will be the key strategist in the whole social listening and insight finding process, from understanding client brief, setting up social listening tool, generating and deep-diving into social conversations, to finding/ visualizing/ presenting strategic insights in an easy-to-understand way

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Define the methodological framework for social listening projects based on client brief
  • Create social listening corpus and semantic filters
  • Data cleaning to make sure irrelevant mentions are filtered out
  • Quantitative and qualitative analysis of conversations / consumer data
  • Identify key insights and strategic opportunities with brand strategist
  • Write social listening report and present data findings to the client
  • Monitor consumer trends and understand how the trends impact social conversation data
  • Generated reports ranged from brand/ category understanding, launch tracking to trend reporting etc

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 2 years of data analysis or social listening analysis experience
  • Ideally with experience in working with social listening tools
  • Bachelor degree
  • Fluent in English, capable of explaining complex idea in spoken and written English
  • Curiosity in consumer trends
  • Basic statistical knowledge
  • Heavy social media user
