What’s a Project and Account Management Internship?

So you’re interested in making things happen? Then perhaps you noticed the obvious typo in the previous sentence? Project managers are sticklers for details. They also have an affinity for organization, a given for a job that balances everything from budgets to timelines to the co-ordination of a multi-functional team. Multi-tasking is a prerequisite.

Expect to be given your own pet project and responsibility to see it through completion while handling managerial duties large or small – or both, depending on your level of experience. You will get exposed to a full range of marketing specialties, work with creative, and basically get exposed to the different parts of a marketing campaign.

A project management internship gives you a good glimpse of advertising and marketing, preparing you for future careers in Advertising, Marketing or even specialized functions such as PR and Digital.

You are offered the position of Account Intern with the key roles and responsibilities as following:

1. Assist in managing suppliers, agencies, media teams, production houses or any 3rd parties
2. Assist in managing timeline and budgets for client’s projects and initiatives
3. Communicate and collaborate with creative team effectively, to deliver the project’s needs
4. Assist in communication planning and business analysis work as per need
5. Contribute to organization culture, by getting involved or leading The Purpose Group internal activities, events and trainings

Success Measurements:

1. Operate with discipline ensuring timely deliverables within client’s budget
2. Ability to provide creative solutions to problems
3. Effectiveness of team collaboration
4. Client’s satisfaction
5. Proactively take initiative to contribute solutions and ideas to the successful launch and business growth of clients
